We acquired the Cladich Fold of Highland cattle in 2001 when the previous owner, David Fellowes, retired. David and his family can trace the fold, through succession, back to the 1870s. Highland cattle have been central to their lives and now, have become central to ours too.

In 2001, our foundation stock comprised a bull, six cows and six heifers. By careful subsequent stock selection and also by introducing new bloodlines, we now have three bulls and thirty five cows and their followers on the south shores of Loch Awe. Our three bulls are producing offspring of a consistent size and conformation which we favour and which is typical of the west Highland type. Colours range from white through yellow to red and to black.

Visitors are always welcome, by appointment, to see our stock and there are many interesting things to see and do in the area. We are 10 miles north of Inveraray and approximately 28 miles east of Oban. There is a good range of accommodation available locally and we would be happy to help you find something suitable if required.
